The Allied Health Council (AHC) at Emory University School of Medicine is the representative body for all Allied Health students, including those in the Anesthesiology Assistant, Genetic Counseling, Medical Imaging, Physician Assistant, and Doctor of Physical Therapy programs. The AHC is dedicated to representing student interests, establishing monetary policy, and overseeing expenditures, while also fostering communication among students, faculty, and administration within Allied Health.

C3's purpose is to coordinate activities and budget monies for all organizations, as well as to legislate policies for chartered organizations. The group is composed of representatives elected by student organizations, and various other student constituencies, and appointed representatives including students serving on Candler's standing committees. Diversity at Candler is what makes this experience so rich with opportunities for transformation and growth. We’ve been around a while. Since 1955, our mission has been to earnestly and faithfully serve and represent students as they pursue theirs. Today, this ideal remains at the heart of everything we do.

We exist to represent student interests to a wide variety of audiences, including (but certainly not limited to) the Emory administration, the Board of Trustees of Emory University, the University Senate, the City of Atlanta, and the Georgia Legislature.

The College Council is led and overseen by a President, a Vice President, the Executive Branch, and approximately 24 representatives, all of whom are elected by students every spring (with the exception of first-year representatives, who are elected shortly after the fall semester begins). These individuals come from every corner of campus; they’re charged with establishing CC’s official position on a variety of issues, as well as advocating for and carrying out its objectives.

College Council works to investigate and resolve common student problems, advocate for the inclusion of students in the overall policy and decision-making processes of the university community, promote awareness of the student’s role in the academic community, enhance the quality and scope of education at the university inside and outside the classroom, and empower students with opportunities to step up and become a leader.

To promote the pursuit of knowledge within both the Emory University LGS and the community as a whole.
To foster a broad sense of community and collegiality among the students of all academic programs of the LGS.

The role of the Medical Student Senate is to advance medical student interests by promoting channels of communication among students, faculty and administration; serving as a forum for discussion of issues impacting the student community; overseeing medical student organization charters; and establishing both broad monetary policy and specific budget allocations to enhance the student experience. The MSS shall also represent the medical student body in university-level policy decisions and participate in the planning of functions that are partially or fully funded by the MSS operating budget.

The Rollins Student Government Association (RSGA) serves as the primary voice and governing body for students at the Rollins School of Public Health. Its mission is to enhance the student experience by promoting academic excellence, fostering community, advocating for student interests, and ensuring representation within university-wide governance.

Core Purposes:

Promote Academic Excellence: RSGA supports the pursuit of knowledge by offering services and programs that enhance the quality of student life and education, creating an environment conducive to learning and professional growth.

Foster Community: RSGA encourages collaboration and engagement across all departments to build a strong, inclusive student community.

Advocate and Represent: RSGA provides a platform for open, constructive dialogue around student concerns and works to ensure those voices are heard in decisions that affect academic and campus life.

University-Wide Engagement: RSGA represents Rollins students in broader university governance, including the Graduate Student Government Association (GSGA) and Emory University Student Government Association (SGA), ensuring Rollins students have a voice in institutional matters.

The RSGA office is located in the Grace Crum Rollins Building, Room 136.

The Undergraduate Nursing Council (UNC) is a constituent of the Georgia Association of Nursing Students and the National Student Nurses Association.

The UNC represents all undergraduate nursing students attending the Nell Hodgson Woodruff School of Nursing, giving them direct input into standards of nursing education and allowing them to influence the education process; to actively participate in legislative and community activities to improve health care and the resolution of related social and professional issues; to support and encourage participation in undergraduate School of Nursing organization chartered by UNC; to promote and encourage collaborative relationships with GANS, NSNA, and other health-related organizations; and to serve and function as the student government of the School of Nursing.
