SECTION ONE: The purpose of 409 Juvenile Mentorship Program is to serve as an outlet for Emory students to provide academic support for youth in detention centers.

SECTION TWO: 409 Juvenile Mentorship Program aims to share knowledge about supporting youth in detention centers, tutoring techniques, and effectively communicating with youth of various backgrounds and interests.

SECTION THREE: 409 Juvenile Mentorship Program aims to enrich the community by hosting events about classroom curriculum at detention centers and providing the opportunity for Emory students to meet and support youth at DeKalb Regional Detention Center.

A Few Cooks aims to address food insecurity in the Atlanta area. We believe that healthy
food is a key to good health and happiness. This is primarily fulfilled with our weekly
trips. Along with making a difference for underserved people in Atlanta, we shine
spotlights on gastronomy from other countries to enrich the pallets of others and educate
volunteers on different cuisines. Finally, we have an end of semester formula for donating
extra meal swipes. With the help of Emory cooks and generous students, we strive to
donate hundreds of meals that would otherwise go to waste. Overall, one can sum up the
pillars of A Few Cooks with two words: Educate (education in nutrition/gastronomy) and
Alleviate (alleviate food insecurity).

For the last decade, cancer has been the third leading cause of death among children in the state of Georgia with approximately 430 new cases each year. APCO is a service and fundraising organization at Emory University benefiting children suffering from cancer in the Atlanta area.
APCO partners with The Aflac Cancer Center at CHOA, in the top 10 childhood cancer centers and one of the largest clinical trial programs in the country, and the Atlanta Ronald McDonald House Charities to provide both financial and emotional support for the families of children battling cancer.

Aural Pleasure is Emory University’s oldest gender-inclusive a cappella group. Founded in 1994, Aural Pleasure is not your mother’s glee club. The group tends to steer away from customary “doo-wop” arrangements and instead prides itself on passionate energy and modern style. Aural Pleasure strives to foster a musically innovative environment and encourages its members to toy with unconventional sound and push the boundaries of traditional a cappella. A dedication to performance and musical excellence has afforded Aural Pleasure the opportunity to perform at a variety of venues across the Southeastern United States. In addition to regular on-campus performances, the group has performed in North Carolina, Nashville, and even the Bahamas. The group won 3rd place in the 2023 ICCA South quarterfinals and performed in the Super Bowl Halftime Show, and can be found on Hulu’s new hit, Tell Me Lies.

Emory Ballroom offers fun and social dance opportunities for the Emory community. We focus on educating members on the technique and culture associated with various styles of ballroom dance. Mercy Care is a network of 10 primary care medical clinics that serves the most vulnerable in our communities—those who are poor and have chronic health conditions, those who struggle with addictions and mental illness, those who are new immigrants, those experiencing homelessness, or those who simply need affordable, excellent healthcare. A federally qualified health center and Atlanta’s only healthcare for the homeless program, Mercy Care accepts most insurances plans, Medicare, and Medicaid and offers a sliding fee scale based on household income for the uninsured. Emory medical students volunteer weekly at the newly renovated Decatur St. Clinic and assist in patient care and accessing the following services on-site:

The Bashor Homeless Mens’ Shelter has provided free healthcare to Atlanta's homeless communities for over 40 years. Located at the Central Presbyterian Church, it is committed to serving the needs of 90-100 homeless men in downtown Atlanta as a winter night shelter from November 1st through March 31st. Open seven nights a week, the shelter provides guests with a hot meals, showers, access to medical care, and recreational activities such as yoga, basketball, and art.



The student-run clinic at Bashor teaches Emory medical students in a unique environment and give a great opportunity to both give back to a community that Emory serves. Students volunteer weekly every Wednesday night from 7 – 9 p.m. and are involved in medication distribution, physical examinations, provider referrals, and medical education under the supervision of an attending physician for those staying at the shelter.

The purpose of the Emory Biotech Consulting Club (EBCC) will be to support a semester-long start-up accelerator open to the entire Emory community, with emphasis on LGS, STEM, and business graduate students. The intention of the club is to group interested candidates in small teams, and to pair teams with Emory investigators (PIs) or local start-ups to provide thorough market analyses and to develop early-stage ideas into preliminary business plans. The Emory Office of Tech Transfer (OTT) will be actively involved with the club, and aide in securing accelerator projects. Teams will be selected from applicant pools from the entire Emory community, where at least one MBA or business student will be placed on each team, if possible. Teams will work on developing their projects in their own time, but will have scheduled meetings with the start-up representative, Business School librarian, and consulting expert(s) throughout the semester. The number of teams will correlate with demand from PIs and applicants; EBCC is expected to operate with approximately 4 teams per cohort. Each cohort will culminate with a presentation of all projects to the EBCC and Emory communities, along with OTT and Georgia Research Alliance (GRA), with discussion and questions from a panel of mentors, entrepreneurs, and experts.

It’s an educational, social, and academic club dedicated to exposing and enriching the knowledge regarding cryptocurrencies. There are three main reasons why Emory would benefit greatly from this club:
Education: Many Emory students have expressed a strong interest in investing and conducting research in cryptocurrency. However, given the rapidly evolving and unpredictable nature of the crypto space, there is a lack of established safeguards and structured educational resources on campus. Blockchain at Emory aims to fill this gap by becoming a trusted source of knowledge and guidance. Through comprehensive workshops, discussions, and resources, we strive to empower students to make informed decisions and engage with cryptocurrencies responsibly and safely. Our mission is to foster a well-informed community where students can navigate the complexities of blockchain with confidence and caution.
Career: Many crypto companies such as Coinbase are less likely to host crypto events on campus without the existence of a blockchain club. At most universities throughout the country, crypto clubs act as a bridge between companies and campuses. Our organization would bring in recruiters and entrepreneurs for events that would benefit the entire student body.
Alternative Investments: Many of our founding members have experience in other BBA clubs which only emphasize consulting and investment banking. The founding of our club would add to the potential options students have when looking for experience within Goizueta.

Emory Club Women's Lacrosse team is a founding member of SWLL, the Southeastern Women's Lacrosse League. Being a part of the Emory Club Lacrosse team is a wonderful way to maintain your lacrosse skills, while getting involved on campus and making new friends. We welcome all prospective students and players whether you have experience or not. Practices Mondays & Wednesdays 8:30-10:00pm. Play games on weekends against other club teams of the Southeast. The mission of Club Women’s Water Polo at Emory University is first and foremost to serve the students of the university. We strive to provide the students with the opportunity to participate and excel in a collegiate club sport that competes against other teams nationwide, mainly those programs within the CWPA. The Club also strongly promotes school spirit by giving Emory University the opportunity and ability to excel with the goal of having one of the premier club sports programs in the country. Along with this, we can expose the Emory University name as well as promote the sport of women’s water polo across the country.

Our mission is to gather, empower "youth" members at Emory and the broader Atlanta community to promote, advocate for global health through team-based publishing, social media posts, blogs, and research articles, to advance global health equity, promotion, and awareness.

Members will be able to request complete CGHI member access which includes access to the central non-profits: Bi-Weekly Community Calls (Virtual spaces where members across 6 continents gather to discuss, network, plan and idea-share), LinkedIn Group, Networking Opportunities, and the coveted CGHI Masterclass Series where professionals with over 30+ years in public health research, industry, promotion are invited to lead a "masterclass" where they are given an hour to talk about a moral, skill, or lessons learned within global health within their life.
Be able to Join teams of up to 5 to get a research article, or blog officially published on the CGHI website which can then lead to greater odds at getting into graduate schools, labs, research groups, jobs, etc. They will be given a step-by-step system, club-wide editorial support, as well as intern editorial/contextual support at CGHI Headquarters.
