Join the EBSU for a Fat Tuesday celebration! We’ll discuss how unique Mardi Gras is in the United States and the traditions in New Orleans including the Black Maskers of the carnival and the King of the Zulu Krewe, the host the oldest and largest Black Parade. Come share the learning, music and dancing, games, and food of a traditional Fat Tuesday celebration. We welcome all Emory students to come an wear your purple, green and gold and, as they say in New Orleans, “Laissez les bons temps rouler (Let the good times roll).” We welcome all Emory students, faculty, and staff to participate in this program. For accessibility needs or accommodations, please email ebsu@emory.edu one week prior to the program date.
