About Us
The role of the Medical Student Senate is to advance medical student interests by promoting channels of communication among students, faculty and administration; serving as a forum for discussion of issues impacting the student community; overseeing medical student organization charters; and establishing both broad monetary policy and specific budget allocations to enhance the student experience. The MSS shall also represent the medical student body in university-level policy decisions and participate in the planning of functions that are partially or fully funded by the MSS operating budget.
