Pen Pals aims to combat loneliness among residents of long-term-care facilities by pairing them with Emory undergraduates through a pen pal program. Together, we aim to build bridges across generations, foster companionship, and create sustained relationships that enrich both residents and students, while also providing meaningful opportunities for students to grow through community engagement.
The members will have the opportunity to form a long-term intergenerational friendship, participate in civic engagement, and earn volunteer hours.
