About Us
Born out of the Alpha Tau Omega fraternity’s basement, The Pulse has been a hub of underground artists from its origin. The Pulse’s mission is to create and maintain a prominent platform for student artists to share their talent with the rest of the University, as well as foster an artistic community of camaraderie and collaboration. The Emory Pulse strives to serve as both producer and collective of artistic work and artists respectively. Branching into as many artistic disciplines as possible, The Pulse has produced 19 SYMPOSIUM performances, during which student musicians perform for large crowds of their peers and student artists showcase and sell their works. Additionally, The Pulse has historically published an annual literary magazine, titled ANTHOLOGY, and managed a blog to promote arts and artists around Emory.
