About Us

The Moot Court Society is a competitive, student-run organization that provides experiential opportunities to develop networking, oral advocacy, and brief-writing skills. Moot Court Society Members organize and host the annual Civil Rights and Liberties Moot Court Competition at Emory Law in the fall semester. In the spring semester, Moot Court Society Members travel throughout the country and the world to compete in various Moot Court competitions, ranging in subject matter and competition style.
