Working with the national RAM organization, Emory RAM hosts a yearly clinic in Augusta/Lousville/Gwinnett that provides free dental, eye, and medical care to the underserved and uninsured population in Georgia.

Cleanings, fillings, extractions, and X-rays.
Eye exams, eyeglass prescriptions, and on-site glasses cutting.
Access to provider specialties, inluding podiatry, family medicine, and women's health.
At our last Emory-hosted RAM clinic in August, GA, we provided free service to 119 patients with an estimated value of $89,832 in health care. Over 130 volunteers helped out with setting up and running the clinic.

Any undergraduate student general body member is able to volunteer at our Emory RAM clinic. General body member volunteers who demonstrate commitment by going to Emory RAM events and GBMs on campus will recieve better chances of being selected to go to the clinic.
1.
Assist in setting up and organizing the clinic space on Friday, one day prior to patient arrival.

Some volunteers will be assigned shifts to manage patient flow and parking operations during overnight hours.

Support various clinic operations on Saturday and Sunday. Volunteers can in the dental or vision sections. Only volunteers with AEMT or CMA certification can volunteer in medical triage.
4.
Assist in taking down and cleaning up the clinic space on Sunday after all patients have been seen.
