Global Indigenous Health Coalition

About Us

Global Indigenous Health Coalition (GIHC) is a student-led organization that aims to collaborate with medical experts, local organizations, and university clubs to create and translate culturally sensitive presentations about relevant health topics. Our mission is to deliver presentations, create events on important health topics that are not only just a “lecture” but ones that are engaging, to underserved communities, particularly global indigenous groups, in an effort to alleviate disparities in health literacy caused by linguistic barriers. By bridging academic knowledge with community needs, we aim to create resources across different cultural and linguistic contexts, ensuring that health education is meaningful and inclusive.
