About Us

The Graduate Association of Spanish and Portuguese Students (GRASP) is the student group for the Hispanic Studies graduate program in Emory’s Spanish and Portuguese Department. Our purpose is to foster interchange between the respective disciplines represented in our department, provide professional and academic training and workshops to Hispanic Studies students, and serve as a liaison for Hispanic Studies graduate students to the Spanish and Portuguese Department and Emory administration. Our programming includes invited speakers, reading groups, and events featuring new research by current graduate students and faculty.
