Members Benefits

Membership in the National Society of Black Women in Medicine (NSBWM) provides students with exclusive opportunities and resources that support both academic and professional success. Members receive a Princeton Review coupon code offering 20% off tutoring services and preparation for exams such as the MCAT, NCLEX, DAT, and LSAT. Beyond academic support, NSBWM offers a safe and supportive space on campus for Black women in medicine pursuing undergraduate degrees, creating a community rooted in empowerment and belonging. Each chapter hosts unique events and programming tailored to the specific needs of its members, while mentorship programs facilitated by professionals in the field provide direct guidance and inspiration. Members also benefit from leadership training, career development opportunities, and access to both clinical and non-clinical experiences essential for graduate school applications. Additionally, the organization offers multiple scholarship opportunities and connects members to a nationwide network of students and distinguished professionals through the NSBWM Members Portal and Newsletter. Together, these benefits ensure that members are equipped with the tools, connections, and confidence to thrive in medicine and beyond.
