About Us
Emory SaRaas is Emory's only nationally ranked, North Indian Garba-Raas team. Garba-raas combines a style of Gujarati folk dance with dancing with dandiya sticks to create a high intensity dance style that is performed at the collegiate level. We perform at cultural events around Atlanta and competitions around the country, allowing us to share a genuine love for Indian dance and culture. We cherish the tight-knit family we have been able to create on campus and through our team, we hope to provide a safe space to create art and appreciate culture.
