SECTION ONE: The purpose of 409 Juvenile Mentorship Program is to serve as an outlet for Emory students to provide academic support for youth in detention centers.

SECTION TWO: 409 Juvenile Mentorship Program aims to share knowledge about supporting youth in detention centers, tutoring techniques, and effectively communicating with youth of various backgrounds and interests.

SECTION THREE: 409 Juvenile Mentorship Program aims to enrich the community by hosting events about classroom curriculum at detention centers and providing the opportunity for Emory students to meet and support youth at DeKalb Regional Detention Center.

SECTION ONE: Membership in the 409 Juvenile Mentorship Program is limited to full-time students, gap-year students, part-time students, and faculty members of Emory University.

SECTION TWO: Students of Emory University may join 409 Juvenile Mentorship Program regardless of race, color, religion, ethnic or national origin, sex, gender, genetic information, age, disability, sexual orientation, gender identity, gender expression, or veteran's status or other bases of discrimination. 409 Juvenile Mentorship Program shall not discriminate against members on any basis.

SECTION THREE: To become a member of Emory 409 Juvenile Mentorship Program one must show genuine interest in supporting youth, tutoring academic subjects of their interest, and a willingness to grow, communicate, and learn .

A Few Cooks aims to address food insecurity in the Atlanta area. We believe that healthy
food is a key to good health and happiness. This is primarily fulfilled with our weekly
trips. Along with making a difference for underserved people in Atlanta, we shine
spotlights on gastronomy from other countries to enrich the pallets of others and educate
volunteers on different cuisines. Finally, we have an end of semester formula for donating
extra meal swipes. With the help of Emory cooks and generous students, we strive to
donate hundreds of meals that would otherwise go to waste. Overall, one can sum up the
pillars of A Few Cooks with two words: Educate (education in nutrition/gastronomy) and
Alleviate (alleviate food insecurity).

SECTION ONE: The purpose of the Afro-Latinx Student Association is to build and foster a community of Afro-Latinx-identifying students at Emory University. There has not been a space on campus that caters to the unique identity and experience of being Afro-Latinx.

SECTION TWO: The Afro-Latinx Student Association aims to share knowledge about the complexities and intersectionality of being Black and Latinx within our community but also with the Emory community at large.
